Ocean Salazar
Founder, CEO

Ocean has experience in entrepreneurship, investing, and music. He has been playing the violin for 14 years. He has taken a course in entrepreneurship from Columbia Business School Professor Jack McGourty and was a semi-finalist in the MN Cup, the largest state-wide startup competition in the country. Ocean has also got to the championship round of an mergers and acquisitions case competition, judged by Wall Street executives in New York City. He interned at Sawmill Private Management, doing investment-related work after numerous years of self-taught, personal investing.

Ricardo De Saracho
Chief Marketing Officer

Ricardo (Ricky) De Saracho is a self-driven soon to be businessman. Fresh out of Salpointe Catholic High School and starting his business career at Eller College of Business at the University of Arizona, Ricky is determined to make his mark in a world of innovation. Ricky has owned and successfully managed a marketing and advertising LLC with his business partner. He is currently the director of Sales at Studioso LLC and is ready to change the music education industry for the betterment of students and teachers. His priority is to improve his work and make sure that in any deal made, the buyer is satisfied to the upmost.

Charles Porth
Chief Technology Officer

Charles has been programming since 7th grade in 11 languages. He has experience in Android app development, web development, Google Firebase, and cybersecurity. He has developed dozens of apps for Android and has recently begun programming in Swift, for iOS. He has been passionate about computer hardware since 3rd grade. Charles was on the High School robotics team The Green Machine as a programmer. He also interned at Edina Public Schools as a IT consultant. Charles is active in managing Studioso’s iOS Development and cybersecurity.


Gage Merkel
Director of Research and Development

Gage has played the cello for 8 years, having taken multiple master classes with world renowned professionals. He has toured Europe on two separate occasions, playing repertoire from composers around the world. He is currently the principal cellist for the Edina High School concert orchestra, and plays in the state’s top youth orchestra at GTCYS. Gage was a state finalist for business finance in the Minnesota Chapter of DECA, an international association of high school and college students of marketing, management and entrepreneurship. He has experience with advanced technique and musicality, and is responsible for the research and development of Studioso's growing technique library.

Luke Langefels
Director of Android Development

Luke has over 4 years of Java development experience as well as over 6 months of Android specific development. Luke has created many small applications in both languages through the use of online courses as well as self-teaching. He founded and managed the software components of a middle school robotics team which participated in the First Tech Challenge (FTC) competitions for two years. After middle school Luke joined the high school robotics team’s software sub team, and is currently co-captain of said sub team. He has played the Piano for over 9 years as well as the Clarinet for over 6 years, and plans on pursuing both his development interests as well as his musical ones into college.

Landon Tselepis
Chief Strategy Officer

Landon has always been entrepreneurial from a young age, running a variety of small businesses. He has work experience in sales and marketing. Recently, he created and organized the “Sober Squad” campaign, which took action against drunk driving. During the campaign, Landon has learned how to market and sell ideas to private donors. Currently, Landon is active in researching, creating, and fostering partnerships with institutions interested in using Studioso.

Lauren Pham
Director of PR and Special Projects

As a blogger, YouTuber, and Instagram influencer, Lauren has various experiences in social media marketing. She is adept at creating social media campaigns, creating partnerships, and maintaining a strong brand. She is going into her second year of college and is part of the Phi Theta Kappa honor society. Currently, Lauren manages the Studioso Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook accounts. She also managing Studioso's public relations.

Siwei Qian
iOS Developer

Siwei has extensive experience in mobile app development, network and database architecture, virtual reality, and operating systems. He has created a handful of apps and recently completed two internships at Amazon. He is fluent in the programming languages Objective-C, C/C++, Python, Ruby, and SQL. He was the founder and president of the University of Minnesota App Developers' club. He is currently working on the iOS development of Studioso.

Brendan Will
Chief Legal Officer

Brendan has worked in legal and marketing for his entire professional career. From his first internship with a San Francisco based legal consulting company to his work at his firm Sterling, Gould, and Associates, Brendan has built a multi-faceted gauntlet of legal and marketing knowledge. He is eager to be working with such a dynamic and innovative start-up, as Studioso, and looks excitedly to the future of fueling brand growth and expanding sales. Brendan and Ricky met at Sterling, Gould, and Associates, and have since combined their knowledge and skills to become Studioso’s West Coast sales team.
